Denver Lions Youth Rugby Club

The Denver Lions Youth Rugby Club is a catchment area for Rugby Colorado's TRY youth rugby league. Encouraging all kids to give rugby a try. 

Serving West Denver, NW Denver, Edgewater, Golden, Arvada, Lakewood, & Wheat Ridge areas.

The Denver Lions are one of many youth rugby clubs across the Denver Metro area that offer kids a chance to learn and play rugby. Each club fields teams that participate in the Rugby Colorado TRY Youth Rugby League.  TRY teams  play 7-a-side or Olympic rugby in festival like settings called Jamborees. Under the Jamboree format, all age levels play at one location on a given weekend day in the summer months of May and June.

U8 Co-ed flag

(players are 5, 6 & 7 years old as of May 1st of the upcoming season)

U10- Co-ed tackle

(players are 8 & 9 years old as of May 1st of the upcoming season)

U12- Co-ed tackle

(players are 10 & 11 years old as of May 1st of the upcoming season)

U12- Girls tackle

(players are 10 & 11 years old as of May 1st of the upcoming season)

Middle School- Boys tackle

(players in 6th through 8th grades during upcoming season)

Middle School- Girls tackle

(players in 6th through 8th grades during upcoming season)
